Hondata Coil Pack Retrofit - CPR Kit

The Hondata Coil Pack Retrofit (CPR) allows distributor-equipped Honda engines to use individual coil-on-plug ignition coils. The CPR replaces the factory single-coil ignition setup with an electronic circuit capable of driving individual igniter-type coils, similar to those used on later-model Honda engines.

Compatible Honda Engines:

• D-Series
• B-Series
• F-Series
• H-Series

Benefits:

• Provides more spark energy than a traditional single-coil and distributor ignition system.
• Allows a larger spark plug gap in forced-induction applications while helping reduce misfires.
• Individual ignition coils are more durable and less likely to fail than the factory igniter and coil.
• Eliminates exposed spark plug leads, reducing conducted interference with other vehicle electronics.
• Can also drive a CDI controller if desired.

Important Notes

• The CPR is designed to work with US-spec rectangular ECUs only.
• The ignition coils require a method of retention. B16A, B18C, and F22A engines may use the factory spark plug cover.
